Who are the Young Republicans?

The Orange County Young Republicans (OCYR) is an organization consisting of young professionals who are committed to a common sense approach to politics, low taxation, limited government and social conservatism. OCYR is a wholly independent organization with its own bylaws, funding, and Executive Board. This means that OCYR and its members make their own decisions on how best to support the Republican Party in Orange County, whether by endorsing candidates, promoting voter registration, or encouraging our party's youth to take a strong leadership role. What do they stand for?

What do they stand for?

The Orange County Young Republicans are committed to the four key principles of Reagan Republicanism: limiting government to its proper constitutional functions, promoting a strong national defense, lowering taxes and regulation, and upholding the twin values of liberty and personal responsibility.

What do they do?

You may have seen us registering voters throughout Orange County, or walking precincts for our endorsed candidates in the last election, or perhaps you came to one of our popular monthly Mixers. To learn more about the wide range of events sponsored by OCYR, please click here. Events

How do I learn more about them?

The easiest way to learn more about us is to come to one of our meetings or events. Our General Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at Kimera Restaurant, 19530 Jamboree Rd., Irvine, CA 92612. Each meeting features a distinguished speaker of the modern conservative movement and are open to the public. We also may discuss current actions or plans for our organization and invite our members to get involved. Our monthly Mixers are held on the 3rd Thursday of every month at a rotating location in Orange County. Of course, the best way to learn who we are, is to join our organization and get involved right away!
